The geographical position of Dongguan is superior and Taiwanese businessmen gather. It is reported that Dongguan is 50 kilometers away from Guangzhou, 90 kilometers away from Shenzhen, 47 nautical miles from Hong Kong, and 48 nautical miles from Macau. It is in the middle of the Guangzhou-Hong Kong Economic Corridor and is the only place for land and water transportation between Guangzhou and Hong Kong. According to another historical record, the relationship between Dongguan and Taiwan began in the early 17th century. At that time, thousands of people were exiled to Taiwan because of war and many other factors. Therefore, many people still believe that Taiwanese people should first come from Dongguan. As a result, as of today, Taiwanese people come to Dongguan to start a business and settle down.

However, Dongguan's lighting and lighting industry has not developed ahead of its time due to its superior geographical position and numerous Taiwanese capitals, or has seen a large number of group lighting and lighting companies. As a result, national lighting and lighting distributors have little knowledge of Dongguan lighting and lighting companies for many years. What caused this? Does Dongguan lighting and lighting industry still have the opportunity to re-establish prestige, and even become famous for a hundred years?

However, as the world's most powerful consumer market in China, if Dongguan lighting and lighting companies do not seize the opportunity and seize the time to recover the honor that was once robbed by the ancient town, then Dongguan will definitely lose its chance of performance again. It is even harder to bring back the honor and status that belonged to Dongguan!
Has Dongguan people forgotten history?

For Dongguan lighting and lighting companies, there has been a glorious golden age. They are the overall market performance and the size of the country. The impression of the business is very good, and Sanli Lighting can be said to be a banner for the development of the lighting industry in Dongguan at that time.

The market belongs to everyone, so a single effort is often difficult to form a regional brand. In addition to Sanli Lighting, Jinda Lighting, Moon and Mangroves, other lighting companies are almost "blocks, rain and umbrellas", not to mention whether the storm of market change is coming. Therefore, after passing through 2002 and 2003, the reputation of Dongguan lighting and lighting enterprises in the national market began to decline sharply. The enterprises based on the “Lights” ancient town gradually developed, and the performance of Opus was the most prominent.

Losing the accumulation of two years is equivalent to handing over the cake to the ancient town enterprise. In the past two years, Dongguan's lighting and lighting companies have a good performance in addition to sales, the domestic market share and influence is very small. Until 2004, Dongguan enterprises were only aware of it.

In 2004, under the leadership of NVC Lighting, the lighting and lighting industry set off a new round of market reshuffle competition. At this time, Dongguan’s Taiwan-funded enterprise, Star Rui Lighting, began to fully launch the domestic market. Other companies such as Jinda and others have begun to plan the domestic market. However, the industry is even more surprised that the change in Dongguan has not only involved a large number of enterprises, but also their ideology of the transformation of the domestic market is still the current, no longer only Pursuing a good market, and attaching great importance to the overall image and brand of the company, and even some of the emphasis on the brand is even more than the enterprises in the ancient town.

In 2005, Dongguan lighting and lighting companies paid more attention to the brand. In the various media and professional lighting stores in the industry, there have been positive signs of Dongguan enterprises, such as karma. In the second half of 2005, Jinda Lighting launched the “Vishahua” brand and further expanded the domestic market with the operation mode of the specialty store. At the same time, enterprises such as mangroves began to enter a period of steady development.

Perhaps because of the success of the company, in 2006, Baohui launched the "Olenis" brand and took the crystal lamp store model. At the same time, the industry has strengthened cooperation with major domestic building materials supermarkets and established a supermarket department. However, Sanli Lighting has the biggest changes. First, it established a sales company in Shenzhen, which has comprehensive independent accounting for production and sales. Second, it hired a consulting company to conduct research on the network and terminals of Sanli Lighting, further integrated resources, adjusted the product line, and Embarked on the core products all their own R & D design and production, conventional products and other well-known brands go the OEM route. There is still a bigger change in this year, that is, international brands such as Yigao and Anshang Lighting enter the Chinese city and do not mention the heroes of the year. Although Dongguan has experienced setbacks and experienced glory, one problem that cannot be ignored is that Dongguan’s lighting and lighting industry base has not yet seen a well-known brand in the true sense. If this serious imbalance continues, then Dongguan lighting and lighting enterprises will face even greater "bloody" challenges from well-known companies such as Op, NVC.
