——Interview with Mr. Hu Mianren, Chairman of Dongguan Hongying Lighting Co., Ltd.

The invention of the lamp made the darkness bright, and the development of the lighting made the world more dazzling and beautiful. With the progress of the times, the art of home lighting has become a symbol of the epitome and temperament and conservation of the era culture. In order to further understand the lighting culture, we recently walked into the suburb of Liaobu Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, and interviewed Mr. Hu Mianren, Chairman of Dongguan Hongying Lighting Co., Ltd.


1. Hongying Lighting has emerged in the industry since 2005. Is the company established only this year? Can you briefly introduce the development process?

Hu: Thank you for evaluating us with our bare feet. Our factory was originally established in 1997. At that time, the factory was named Dongguan Jucheng Lighting Hardware Factory. The factory mainly produces all kinds of wrought iron products mainly based on lighting hardware. The scale is not large, only about 10 employees. With the specialization, full commitment and customer base of the work, the factory has doubled its performance in just six months. By the end of 1998, the factory has grown to employees. More than 50 people, providing accessories services for more than 20 large and medium-sized lighting companies. In 1999, we invested in Dongguan Zhuoying Craft Products Factory. In 2005, Dongguan Hongying Lighting Co., Ltd. was officially established in Liaobu, Dongguan. At first, the products mainly faced the United States, Europe and many other international markets. Due to the rise of the domestic economy and the huge market, the company successfully registered the products while the products were exported to Europe and the United States. - St. Jiali is a domestic independent brand. And then the domestic market has been comprehensively expanded and laid out. In less than one year from 2005 to 2006, the company has developed more than 30 product franchisees, and its products are sold in large and medium-sized cities such as Beijing and Shanghai.

2. How does the company achieve a transition from a luminaire supplier to a manufacturer?

Hu: From the perspective of people outside the industry, from zero to the whole may be a very simple process. In fact, such a transition requires too much work to do. If it wasn't from the establishment of the factory in 1997, it would be able to focus on today, and it would be almost impossible to achieve it from product production to marketing in just one year. In 1997, the factory was established in 1999 and invested in Dongguan Zhuoying Craft Products Factory. In 2001 and 2002, it invested nearly 2 million new lighting cloth cover workshops and stamping department, and renamed the factory as Dongguan Jucheng Lighting Hardware. Ltd., and obtained the general taxpayer qualification, is not prepared for this result. In 2005, Dongguan Hongying Lighting Co., Ltd. was officially established in Liaobu, Dongguan, which is a big step on the basis of the original. Focus on the domestic market and register - St. Gallen is the key to our transition.

3. In the past few years, the lighting and lighting industry was in a state of disorderly competition, and the market was not standardized. It can be said that there is chaos. How does Hongying Lighting maintain rapid development in such an environment? What is the business philosophy?

Hu: The lighting and lighting industry has not really been standardized in China so far, so in the first two years or even in the next few years, there may be the same chaos. As the saying goes: Heroes in troubled times, of course, no one of us now wants a situation of irregularity. But frankly, at any time, there are opportunities for danger. When we are doing market expansion, we are really troubled by this phenomenon. All dealers have concerns about the new generation, but our principle is honesty, we must do it, customer-based, lack of products. We make timely improvements and maximize the protection and protection of dealers' interests. After several months, we finally won the trust of dealers, which is the main pusher for us to move forward steadily. This can also be fully reflected in our business philosophy of harmonious development, knowledge, innovation and service, and mutual benefit and win-win.

4. In the past two years, the market has gradually standardized, lighting and lighting companies have begun to vigorously carry out brand building and channel construction. The related activities are endless. How do you view this industry phenomenon, what measures or plans does the company have in these areas?

Hu: In the face of cruel market competition, brand building is the inevitable road. Of course, we will not turn a blind eye, and we will not be left behind. We will build Shengjia in the bustling business district of Dongguan City from June to July this year. Philip's modern business center and standard product showroom, and enrich the types of products (such as small furniture, craft jewelry, etc.), form a lighting-led home accessories industry marketing chain, and at the same time carry out cooperation with third-party developers. The success or failure of marketing and the rear reserve are also the most important. In order to meet the needs of market expansion, the company plans to relocate and expand the existing factories in 2007, and move all the subordinate enterprises of the existing dispersed subsidiaries into unified planning and dispatching. I believe we can laugh to the end.

5. How is the company's products positioned?

Hu: The company's products are positioned in the simple European style, which is the so-called modern classical style. The market is aimed at the middle and high-end consumer groups, and can accept Western culture and successful people with high personal qualities and tastes. The products are mainly lighting, supplemented by small furniture and craft ornaments of similar style.

6. How does the company handle the relationship between production and sales, and what is the marketing method or channel?

Hu: It is well known that the coordination of supply and demand is important. In the initial stage of market operation where sales have not yet been normalized, we adopt a sales-centered production service model, that is, when supply and demand conflict, production must be at the most costly. The limit guarantees the sale of products, and adopts a number of methods such as pre-production orders, pre-purchased parts and semi-products to satisfy sales. Our marketing methods are eclectic and diversified, such as: franchising, monopoly chain, joint engineering, etc., all of which are based on the principle of service-oriented mutual benefit and win-win. At the same time, we also use advanced network platforms to promote the development of online marketing.

7. A good company will have its unique corporate culture. What is the company's corporate culture?

Hu: Let's briefly summarize our corporate culture from the following four aspects: First, we need a harmonious enterprise to build a harmonious society. Our development needs to be synchronized with the times. We need different opinions and voices to constantly improve ourselves and achieve beyond. Second, enterprises must have the desire to seek knowledge, and have an innovative team. Everyone must understand the truth of not going back. Third, with the development of the economy and society, when the satisfaction of hardware is similar, the subtleties are obvious. Excellence, the degree of service will directly affect the economic and human value of the enterprise, so that is to say, the fight is more of a service. Finally, the result we want is a win-win situation. Like a slogan, everyone is good. It is really good. In addition, I want to emphasize that the introduction and cultivation of talents is an important condition for a company to be able to operate forever. Therefore, I have done human resources management as an important link in the business operation.

8. What is the company's future development plan and goals?

Hu: We are full of confidence in the future. China's economy has indeed undergone earth-shaking changes in recent years, but from a farther future, this is just a small step, real challenges and opportunities. Still behind, especially in the next three or five years. At present, the truly developed cities in China are limited to the coastal areas and major cities such as Beijing and Shanghai. The market of inland cities is not ok, so the company has set up 200 acres in Ningyuan County, Hunan Province, and built Hunan Ningyuan Jucheng (Dongguan). Investment Co., Ltd., pre-invested 60 million yuan to build a lighting international industrial park at the end of 2009. Our goal is very simple, is to step into the high-end field of domestic lighting, and lead the fashion trend of home lighting. At the same time, we will build well-known domestic brands and create a warm and beautiful life for our customers.
