Summary:

This application note describes a reference design for building an LCD TV or set-top box auxiliary power supply using the low-cost, high-efficiency synchronous buck converter MAX15026. The reference design produces a 5V, 5A output from a 6.5V to 24V input voltage range.

The following is a list of the main specifications of the reference design, a detailed circuit diagram (Figure 1), and a list of required materials (Table 1).
