Emergency management port

The emergency management port, abbreviated as EMP, stands for "Emergency Management Port" and is an interface on the server's mainboard for remote management of servers. The remote controller can be connected to the server through a Modem (modem) and the control software is installed on the controller. The remote control machine can perform the following tasks on the server through the EMP Console control interface:
A. Turn on or turn off the server's power.
B. Reset the server, even including the motherboard BIOS and CMOS parameters.
C. Monitor internal server conditions: such as temperature, voltage, and fan conditions.

The above functions can enable technical support personnel to resolve many server hardware failures in a timely manner through Modem (modem) and telephone lines. This is a good technical means to achieve fast service and save maintenance costs.
