Energy-saving storm, energy-saving lamps will replace incandescent lamps

By 2015, high-watt bulbs with a power of 25-100 watts will be eliminated. In addition to Europe, other countries including Australia, the United States and Canada have developed similar energy-saving lamp plans. This energy-saving storm from Europe has now formed a spark in China and has had a profound impact on the tobacco industry.

The author once saw an example: Jiangxi Yichun Tobacco Company Cigarette Distribution Center originally had 102盏100-watt incandescent lamps. It consumes 310 degrees of electricity every 3,100 hours per year, and the average annual incandescent lamp loss cost is about 354 yuan. Due to the influence of the concept of environmental protection and energy conservation, coupled with the increase in electricity consumption, the original power supply equipment is difficult to bear, saving electricity and reducing consumption has become a top priority. Therefore, they decided to let the incandescent lights collectively "learn". Now it is changed to 20 watt energy-saving lamps. It consumes only 62 degrees of electricity every 3,100 hours per year, and the average annual energy-saving lamp loss is only 93 yuan. From this calculation: the use of energy-saving lamps can save 26,000 kWh of electricity and save 27,000 yuan in lighting costs.

The benefits of energy-saving lamps can be said to be numerous, not only to reduce the power load, to alleviate the power shortage in China, but also to have huge environmental benefits. Each saving of 100 million kWh means saving more than 40,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 100,000 tons.

The oil is tight, the coal is in a hurry, and the peak power is used. After China's energy industry has withstood more than a decade of rapid economic growth, the energy crisis has become increasingly intensified, and energy has become a bottleneck restricting economic development in many places. As the lifeblood of the tobacco industry, electric energy has been in full swing in recent years, and it is like a demon in our side.

In fact, China has long called for the promotion of “green lighting”, and LED has obvious advantages in various energy-saving light sources. China has also promulgated the "Energy Conservation Law," which bans the construction of new industrial projects that are backward in technology, consume too much energy, and seriously waste energy, and implement a phase-out system for backward energy-consuming products and equipment that consume too much energy. However, although the industrial orientation meets the needs of the situation, it is suspected of being thunderous and rainy. Due to the lack of specific standards and lack of maneuverability, the Energy Conservation Law is often suspended in practice.

On the one hand, the strength of the law is not brought into play in practice; on the other hand, the role of policy guidance is too weak. To get rid of these obstacles, we must rely on government policies and the active participation of people from all walks of life. Tobacco companies are responsible for this.

In 2009, incandescent lamps will be extinguished in the European Union; in 2010, Australia will extinguish incandescent lamps; in 2012, California incandescent lamps will have nowhere to be found. In what year will Chinese incandescent lamps be closed? Can Chinese tobacco companies make incandescent lamps go to class as early as the cigarette distribution center of Yichun Tobacco Company in Jiangxi? It should not take too long to wait. Today, with the integration of the global economy, the Chinese tobacco industry is destined to avoid the influence of the EU “blocking order”.

If Mr. Edison knows the underground, he must understand that it is not excessive to eliminate the storm that has been set off by his great invention, the incandescent lamp.
