A new generation of smart car manufacturing base

The car and home smart car manufacturing base that was laid and started construction on August 10th is located in Wujin National High-tech Development Zone, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. The manufacturing base covers an area of ​​500,000 square meters, which is equivalent to 70 standard football fields. At the same time, the designed capacity will reach 300,000. The factory will be divided into Phase I and Phase II for construction. After its completion, the overall investment in cars and homes will reach 5 billion yuan. In addition to the 300,000-capacity production vehicle manufacturing base, Car and Home will also build a power battery plant in Changzhou, which can handle 200,000 18650 batteries per day. In terms of environmental protection technology, it will achieve real zero discharge of wastewater, and its goal is to create the most environmentally friendly and energy-saving coating production line in the industry. In order to reduce the emission of VOC volatile organic compounds, the paint shop uses water-based body coatings, which is a 60% to 70% lower VOC than traditional solvent-based coatings. The use of the B1B2 spray process can also reduce VOC emissions by 20%. With the efficient exhaust gas treatment system, the VOC emissions from the paint shop will be less than 20mg/m3, far lower than the 30mg/m3 emission standard in Changzhou.
