Air-conditioner business re-press Gree market share of 36%

In the field of domestic air-conditioning, the competition between the two companies of the United States and Gree has already become hot. According to data released by the National Information Center yesterday, in the 2011 frozen year, Midea beat Gree in the domestic inverter air conditioner market with a market share of 36% for the third consecutive year.

In fact, not only in the inverter air conditioner market, but also in the entire domestic air-conditioning market in the first half of the year, Midea surpassed Gree again in the revenue scale of its air-conditioning business. In the first half of the year, Midea’s revenue from air-conditioning and components was RMB 42.516 billion, an increase of 64.44% year-on-year. Gree's air-conditioning business revenue during the same period was 40.239 billion yuan.
