Global energy industry rankings released

Pratt is a subsidiary of McGraw-Hill in the United States. It was published in Singapore in the evening on the “Top 250 Energy Companies in the World” list compiled by S&P Capital IQ. The ranking is determined mainly by the assets of the company last year. , income, profit, and return on capital.

The report said that PetroChina’s assets were about 52 billion U.S. dollars a decade ago, and today its assets have increased to 255 billion U.S. dollars, and annual revenues have grown 7.5 times in ten years.

Total Petroleum of France occupied the fifth place in the rankings. Sinopec ranked eighth. However, the top five Brazilian oil companies and BP, which was plagued by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, fell out of the top five this year. BP ranks only 118th.

Larry Neil, president of Pratt, said that the Asia-Pacific energy market has grown rapidly over the past decade, driving the ranking of companies in this region to rise, and some energy companies have begun to internationalize.

Pradesh’s executive in Asia, Wanda Hari, said that Asia’s energy industry has grown at a rapid rate, and many private companies in the power industry have been on the list, leaving a lasting impression.

Of the top 250 global energy rankings, there are 70 in the Asia Pacific region, of which 18 are in Japan and 13 in China and India. Listed companies with assets exceeding $3.5 billion will enter the screening list.
