The new "C0G (NP0) dielectric automotive electronics "U" series of capacitors with ultra-low ESR and high Q in the 0402 and 0603 package sizes meet or exceed the uniformity requirements of the AEC-Q200 specification. Its lead-free RF chip capacitors are RoHS compliant and suitable for automotive wireless networks, collision avoidance systems, automotive communication systems and traffic alarm systems.

The "U" series of RF chip capacitors are rated for use in temperatures ranging from -55°C to +125°C and have lead-free, plated ends made of nickel/tin. The series' 0402 size capacitors have capacitances and tolerances ranging from .2pF to 22pF at 1MHz. The capacitance and tolerance of 0603 size capacitors range from 1pF to 100pF at 1MHz. The "U" series capacitors for automotive electronics are available in four different operating voltages: 0402 size capacitors for 25 to 50 WVDC and 0603 size capacitors for 50, 100, and 200 WVDC.
"U" series capacitors are sold on 7" or 13" reel packages or sold in bulk. The delivery period is 10 weeks.
