In fact, not so cheap: Sotec VIA dual-core mini-listed Sotec's first mini-product "ZBOXNANO-VD01" with the VIA Nano X2 dual-core processor has recently begun to appear on the retail market, but the price is much higher than expected.

The mini-cam and the AMD E-350 APU used to look exactly the same, but the surface aperture changed from representing AMD's green to VIA's orange. Of course, the internal core platform has changed. The processor is the VIA Nano X2 U4025. 40nm process manufacturing, dual-core, clocked at 1.2GHz, support SSE4 instruction set, virtualization and PadLock hardware encryption technology, thermal design power consumption of 18W, just equivalent to E-350 APU. With the chipset is VIA VX900H, integrated graphics core VIA Chrome 9 DX9 level.

The processor also has a compatriot brother Nano X2 U4300 clocked at 1.2GHz, but the thermal design power consumption is reduced to 13W, which is equivalent to the dual-core, four-thread Intel Atom D525 1.8GHz, but VIA claims its performance can win up to 20 %.

ZBOXNANO-VD01 only provides one DDR3-1066 SO-DIMM memory slot and a 2.5-inch hard disk drive. The user must purchase and install the device separately. This is equivalent to a barebones system, in which the memory capacity is up to 4 GB and the hard disk supports SATA 3 Gbps. The full version ZBOXNANO-VD01-PLUS comes with 2GB of memory and a 320GB hard drive.

ZBOXNANO-VD01 is initially priced at about 10,000 yen, which is approximately 830 yuan, but the actual selling price has reached 17,980 yen, equivalent to nearly 1,500 yuan. The price of ZBOXNANO-VD01-PLUS is unknown, but according to this ratio, it is estimated to be around 3,000 yuan.
