On May 7, 2015, Brilliance China officially unveiled its new compact SUV, the "China V3," marking a significant milestone in their lineup. By September 2015, Brilliance China further expanded the China V3 series with the introduction of the smart model, offering two variants—1.5MT Smart and 1.5AT Smart—at prices of 77,700 yuan and 88,700 yuan, respectively. Under the hood, the new China V3 continues with the same engine options as the current model—a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine delivering 82 kW of maximum power and 145 Nm of peak torque, and a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 110 kW of maximum power and 220 Nm of peak torque. These power figures are competitive within the segment. Transmission choices remain unchanged, with both 5-speed manual and automatic options available.
