Immersive browsing products, MasterCard partners with accessories suppliers to launch VR shopping

MasterCard is collaborating with Swarovski, a renowned name in crystal craftsmanship, to create immersive virtual reality experiences. This innovative project allows customers to explore and shop for products from the comfort of their homes, using Masterpass for seamless transactions.

The application focuses on the Atelier Swarovski home décor collection, offering users an interactive VR journey through five distinct virtual spaces. With a VR headset, customers can walk through these digital environments, examine the products up close, and discover the artistry behind each piece. The experience highlights not only the product's price but also its intricate manufacturing process and the creative inspiration that went into its design.

Once the app launches, users will be able to log in via their Masterpass account. From there, they can easily make purchases by simply tapping the Masterpass button located at the bottom of each product page, making the buying process as intuitive as it is secure.
