The new battery electrolyte can increase the life of the battery by a factor of seven, which increases the cruising range of the electric vehicle by 2-3 times. The new concept of the electrolyte has been tested on the battery cells of the laboratory, but the size of the battery is only as large as the watch battery. After charging and discharging 100 times, although the traditional electrolyte can maintain its battery capacity, the newly developed electrolyte can withstand 700 charge and discharge processes, resulting in a seven-fold increase in battery life.
