The style of the earphone box is similar to other products of the walker. When I first saw the red earphone on the front of the box, I thought that I was also red. However, the color options on the back only revealed that it was black, and red might be the main color of this headset.
The accessories for the headset are very rich, including a metal storage box, 8 pairs of silicone sleeves, and a USB charging cable.
However, my storage box has flaws and I can clearly see that there are two paint spots (black spots on the right edge) in the paint surface, and the quality of the walker needs to be strengthened.
The surface of the headphones is electroplated and it has a very obvious mirror reflection effect. The material should be plastic, but the weight in the hand is sufficient. As a sport earphone, it takes a long time for the electroplating layer to take a long time due to sweat.
The W290BT's headphone cable is very short, much shorter than the XB90EX.
Both headphones are electroplated, the XB90EX is dark green and the W290BT is silver. XB90EX has been used for more than 3 years, the shell has paint off phenomenon, do not know W290BT will not be the case after. Strangely enough, the W290BT's sound unit is 7mm, and the earbud size is almost the same as the 15mm XB90EX.
The wire control unit is designed to be slender, with three physical buttons on the top and rubber material. The raised design facilitates blind operation. The keys are very hard and the key path is very short. The ○ key is used to turn on/off the headset, pause/play music, answer/hang up the phone, press the ↑ and ↓ buttons to adjust the volume, and long press to switch the previous/next song.
The back is a microphone. The side microUSB charging port is protected by a dust plug. The Edifier official advises the user not to charge the headset with a charger that supports fast charging. Only the output voltage is 5V. The headset has a battery capacity of 130 milliamps, can play 8 hours of music continuously, and has a charging time of 2 hours.

The W290BT is still very comfortable to wear, unlike the XB90EX, which often slips out of its ears. However, because its wire is not flat, the stethoscope effect is particularly noticeable.
The music I usually listen to is very strong rhythm, heavy metal, rock, RAP, electric sound and the like, so I really value the bass effect of the headphones. I bought the Sony XB90EX because it focuses on the bass. Judging from the audition (Samsung Galaxy Note4, the system comes with a player, the default equalizer, the source is 320 kbps code rate downloaded by NetEase cloud), W290BT low frequency intensity is not as good as XB90EX (when the difference is obvious when listening to rock music), but it is still relatively Satisfied, there will be no feeling of boring, other such as the middle-high frequency of my fungus can not hear any difference so do not say, in short, the sound quality for the average user's daily use should be a good level.
