"G20-LED Summit member company" Tongfang shares released the first three quarters of 2013 performance report, the company achieved operating income of 15.47 billion yuan, an increase of 2.33% over the previous year's 15.12 billion yuan; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 969 million yuan, Last year's 273 million yuan increased by 254.46% year-on-year; basic earnings per share was 0.48 yuan.
In the third quarter of 2013, Tongfang's operating income reached 6.02 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 540 million yuan, an increase of 357% over the previous year; the basic earnings per share was 0.27 yuan.
Tongfang said that the construction in progress during the reporting period has changed significantly, mainly because some of the production equipment and park facilities of the Nantong LED industrial base affiliated to the company's semiconductor and lighting business segment have reached the usable status and transferred to fixed assets in the current period.
The development expenditure has changed greatly, mainly due to the increase in R&D investment of the company's subsidiaries, Tongfang Guoxin (002049), Digital City Industry Headquarters, Security Industry Headquarters, Semiconductor and Lighting Industry Headquarters, and Military Industry Headquarters.
The net cash flow from investing activities changed significantly. In the current period, the company realized the profitability of some trading financial assets and the infrastructure expenditure of the Nantong LED industrial base affiliated to the company's semiconductor and lighting segment decreased compared with the same period of the previous year.
