Is "Future Home" practical in the smart home era?

Smart home has a wide range of applications in the United States, Germany, Singapore, Japan and other countries. In the research and development of smart home systems, the United States and some European countries have always been in a leading position. In recent years, a group of well-known foreign companies led by Microsoft Corporation of the United States, Motorola, etc., have been among the research and development of smart homes. For example, the "Fantasy Home" developed by Microsoft, the "Home Door" developed by Motorola, and the "Family Director" developed by IBM have all become mature technologies and have begun to seize the home market. In addition, leading companies in Japan, South Korea, Singapore and other countries are also committed to the development of home intelligence, the home market is even more eager to try.

Intelligence is a necessary condition for future homes, but it is not a sufficient condition. Another factor that is being considered by more architects is "green and low carbon." Shanghai's only physical case for the World Expo - "Shanghai, Ecological Home" project can be called a model of smart green future home, a new interpretation of "Lohas." This four-story, black-and-white building with a rather river-like charm in the south of the Yangtze River, through the construction of five major ecological elements of “wind, light, shadow, green, and waste”, has enabled a future ecological house to pass through time and space to everyone’s eyes: Houses built with "garbage" will "breathe" the "tempered" walls, automatically adjust the light inside the house, and flush the toilet with recycled rainwater... more than 75% energy savings over similar buildings.

A model building for a future eco-city has been erected in Chenjia Town, Chongming, Shanghai. The solar installation on the roof can generate about 60,000 kWh per year, and the wind power plant outside the building can generate about 40,000 kW-h per year. The blinds in the office area will automatically adjust the angle according to the intensity of sunlight. Once all the people in the office area leave, the lights will be automatically shut off; the ventilation tower on the roof will rely on hot pressure to generate natural ventilation; the toilet will not only save water, but also can separately recover urine.

The Entrance to the "Future House" looks like an ordinary large piece of frosted glass door, but it actually uses the palmprint recognition technology as the key. It is a highly secure access control system (with the help of full-palm recognition technology. Single fingerprint recognition is more reliable. Moreover, the access control system also incorporates ID card identification and voice recognition technologies, and is equipped with a visitor's voice message system and security system, so that the owners can sit back and relax.

The plant at the entrance of the "Future Home" uses RFID chips to remind the owner of the amount of light and moisture needed.

The smart tray in the entrance also has hidden mystery. If the owner puts the mobile phone and watch up, it will automatically display today's temperature, schedule and other information.

After entering the door, the smart wall will automatically display the welcome message, as well as the status of the security system, indoor temperature, energy consumption and other information.

The smart Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) TV in the living room can be remotely controlled by hand (it has a camera that captures the owner's hand movements). This design concept is similar to Microsoft's popular Kinect somatosensory gaming device.

There is a display on the smart kitchen console. If the owner touches the screen with his hand, there are various health information related to the owner, such as the history of the disease, medications that need to be taken and various health tips, and even gene therapy for life.

How to take medicine? What is the dosage and frequency? If the owner forgets it doesn't matter, it is placed on the smart console and various instructions are immediately and clearly presented.
